High alumina bricks contain over 45% of Al2O3, and can supply high alumina bricks with Al2O3 purity over 92%.
Natural material such as bauxite, sillimanite, and andalusite as well as fused or sintered material such as alumina and mullite are used. The bricks are applied in a variety of areas such as iron and steelmaking and a variety of industrial furnaces.
Fireclay bricks consist of Chamotte, which is calcined flint clay and binder. Chemical components of these bricks are SiO2 and Al2O3 (Al2O3=25~40%). They are mainly used for blast furnaces which have the low-temperature condition. As the furnaces size become larger and operating conditions worsen, denser fireclay bricks containing more refined chamotte, calcined at a higher temperature, are applied more than before.
Silica bricks are mainly used for Cokes oven, hot blast stove.
Properties of the hot blast stove silica bricks are very carefully controlled with good volume stability, good thermal resistance. The gain size, transformation of tridymite and low quartz content are critical for good performance.
Magnesia based refractory is a typical basic material with high refractoriness. It made a substantial contribution to the development of iron and steel making. At present, its application is somewhat restricted to safety linings.
Magnesia bricks later advanced into the development of magnesia carbon bricks, magnesia alumina carbon bricks, magnesia chrome bricks and magnesia spinels to improve spalling resistance, neutral slag corrosion resistance, and thermal strength.
The magnesia bricks produced in China use high-quality fused magnesia as its raw material; the highest grade contains MgO in excess of 98%, with large crystal granules and high chemical stability. It is especially suited to harsh working conditions like high temperature and heavy erosion.
Insulating bricks are manufactured with a unique slurry process which creates a network of microporosity that produces low thermal conductivity and good thermal shock characteristics.
Insulating fire bricks offer a comprehensive range of advanced refractory for the steel process. Typically used in backup insulation for blast furnace stove linings, reheating& heat treatment furnaces etc.
